Aysecan Kurtay was born in Istanbul.
She graduated from French High-School in 1986.
In 1993 she joined to Atelier Hulya Duzenli where she started her art courier.
In 1997 Aysecan opened own Art&Ceramic School registered to Minister of Education.
In 2003 she joined to Atelier Yusuf Taktak.
Since 2001 she continues her works in own atelier.

İstanbul doğumlu olan sanatçı 1986 yılında Sain...I call my works as formation rather then painting.
While searching unsubstantial world I transposed all forms learned through my life as reflections of visual memory into my collages.
Sounds, sentences, colors, stacks that I recognize consciously or unconsciously; inspirations caused by motions always become starting point of my creation.
Year by year I realized that experiencing the process becomes more important journey than reaching the final.
Born by correlations, triggering each other, efforts of ascending stacks escaping from two dimension, figures standing up.... rejecting of all.....getting transparent for closing to surfaces and starting to build collections again and again, layer by layer ...
